Dr. Coté is not accepting new clients, and he does not keep a client waiting list. If you have health insurance, please get in touch with your insurer at the toll-free number on the back of your member identification card. Member Services representatives will help provide alternative mental health provider options to ensure you receive timely access to services.

Dr. Coté accepts Anthem Blue Cross medical insurance. Prior to receiving services, University of California students using UC SHIP insurance will first need a referral from their campuses' Student Health & Counseling Services Center.

Full payment is due at the time of service. Dr. Coté accepts the following forms of payment:

Insurance Billing Policy

Prior to receiving services, please check your member benefits to determine your co-payment and to ensure that Dr. Coté is an "in-network" provider. If you determine that Dr. Coté is “out-of-network,” you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for sessions attended and paid for. In this case, you may submit a monthly statement of fees paid to your insurance company. You would be responsible, however, for the full fee upon receiving services. Upon request, Dr. Coté would be happy to provide the necessary information to assist you with this process.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please give 24-hour notice to cancel or re-schedule to ensure that you will not be charged for the appointment. If you arrive 30+ minutes late to the appointment, the appointment will be canceled and re-scheduled.  If less than 24-hours notice is given or you arrive 30 minutes or later to the appointment,  you will be expected to pay a late cancellation fee of $50. Insurance cannot be reimbursed or billed for missed appointments.
