Dr. Coté and Ebrahim Mansaray will co-present a symposium at the Association of Black Psychologists National Convention: Homecoming: (Re)Claiming Our Divine African - Knowing, Being, Doing, & Belonging in Detroit, Michigan. We will discuss creating an intergenerational healing space for Black Same-Gender-Loving and Trans folks. We also plan to model group processes and discuss the African-centered healing principles that have informed the group processes and practices.
