What Nature Teaches – Some Appearances Deceive

A few months ago, a couple of my friends introduced me to the concept of “finding the blessing amongst the trash.” This lesson sprouted in the context of finding the remains of a discarded fig tree and taking home a few of the abandoned twigs. They learned to nurture the tree within the twig. They watered and took the time to gently care for our plant cousins.  Over time, they began to grow a new fig tree from the discarded elements. The fig twig was never “trash,” and the fig was not dead. Its vibration still alive, ready, and waiting for its next adventure. Life continues to come through. What we think we see is not the fullness of what can and will be. With love, an environment of care, and patience, the hardiness is evident and new iterations of life comes forth.
